Little Children Day Homes is a licensed agency approved by Alberta’s Ministry of Children and Family Services. Our role is to support both families and educators by ensuring that every day home offers safe, high-quality, and developmentally appropriate care.

Services for families:

  • Help finding a day home that suits your child’s age, needs, and your family values

  • Access to government subsidies and affordability grants (if eligible)

  • Ongoing safety and quality monitoring of your child’s day home

  • Backup child care if your regular educator is unavailable

  • A clear and professional process for handling concerns or complaints

  • Confidence knowing your child is in a regulated, supportive, and loving environment

Service for educators:

  •  Help with training, certification, and approval to become a licensed day home educator
  • Support with program planning, child development strategies, and best practices
  • Monthly consultant visits to provide feedback, resources, and encouragement
  • Opportunities for professional development through workshops and training
  • Assistance in maintaining compliance with health, safety, and program standards
  • Ongoing communication and connection with a dedicated agency team
